If you are used to of blog with Windows Live Writer then you must create backup of all your blogs settings to import it any time when you reinstall Windows Live Writer.

How to Backup Live Writer Posts

Currently there is no plugin available to backup live writer written articles ( Drafts and Published) but here is an easy to use alternative method with which we can make Live Writer written articles backup and can also share Live Writer articles as a file.
Actually Live Writer keep all written articles in its sepcific formatted file those are stored with post title in "My Document folder". You can access all these post files in My Documents > My Weblog Posts folder
Here you will observe two more sub folders named;
  1. Drafts
  2. Recent Posts
You can make backup of this folder and you can also send your written post in Live Writer format anywhere. It may be a very good alternative of Word Pad for Bloggers to share guest articles.
