Easy Solution for Replytocom Duplicate Content in WordPress

Replytocom URLs creates duplicate content issue in WordPress and we need to stop search engines from crawling and indexing  these type of URLs. After rolling out Google Panda we must resolve this issue and there are following three ways for it;

Replytocom Redirector WordPress Plugin


It is a great way to crush this problem with complete ease. You have to install and activate this plugin and it work without any configuration. This plugins redirect replytocom duplicate content URLs to the original content URLs and thus Googlebot do not index these duplicate content URLs. It is a complete solution for this issue and it note only save your site form SEO bug but also save your server CPU resources.

Webmaster Tools


It is another easy way to solve this problem and you can prevent replytocom SEO bug using Google Webmaster tools.
  • Login to your Webmaster account ( If you have note added your site to Webmaster then add and verify it to use Webmaster tools)
  • Go to the option “Site Configuration” > URLs Parameters > Replytocom > Edit
  • Set the first option as “ Yes: Changes….narrow page content”
  • Set the second option as “Paginates”
  • Set the 3rd option as “No URLs”
  • And save the settings.
This will resolve replytocom issue and Google will not index these type of URLs
