Sitemter is one of the best traffic stats checker tool. In this tutorial you can know how to purify your Sitemter stats. You can filter your own visited pages to rectified the total traffic count. To get the best idea about your website traffic you should remove your own visits.

• Login to your Sitemter account
• Now go to the option “ Manager” as shown in figure
• In “Manage” section locate the option “Ignore Visits”
• Now in “Ignore Visits” you will find two options;

• Ignore visits from this Browser
• Ignore visits from this Ip

Selecting First option is better and works good because it leaves a cookie in browser which works for filtering the visits from that web browser
Second option works only till when you shutdown your PC and it does not work after restarting the computer. Because the Ip is dynamic in most of cases and every time you restart browser or computer the Ip is changed.
